Staff Training Requirements
Our transportation staff must meet the following criteria:
- Complete a criminal background check.
- Hold First Aid and CPR certification.
- Complete DDA training to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Obtain MANDT Certification to address behavioral health concerns.
- Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain auto insurance.
Ongoing Training
Transportation staff undergo regular training to stay up-to-date on best practices in safety, disability awareness, and customer service. They also participate in continuing education on specific mobility assistance techniques and emergency protocols.
